Hi All. I have been trying for weeks now to install GNS3 on a fresh installation of Centos 5.6. I have been folowing the tutorial on networkingtips-tricks.blogspot.com and have GNS finally working.
Issue I face now is that when I try to start Dynamips I'm getting 'failed to start'. Running it from terminal I get ;
error while loading shared libraries: libpcap.so.1 - fixed that but now get;
/lib/libc.so.6: version `GLIBC_2.7' not found

Is anyone able to pont me in the direction of installing GNS3 0.7.4 on a Centos 5.6 server.

I'm also yet to get Qemu installed and configured.

If anyone is able to help, it would be greatly appreciated.

Had the same problem with CentOS 5.4 (32 bit, on a VirtualBox v4.0.8 VM) tonight, and ended up successfully installing GNS3_0.7RC1 from source along with dynamips 0.2.8-RC2. Hope that helps.

ciao

You will need to recompile dynamips-0.2.8-RC3 and install new Qt4.6+ and pyQt4. Pretty hard.
