I have tried the instructions for Lion but unfortunately it does not work qemu crashes :(

Has anyone successfully tried installing qemu for mountain lion?

I can't compile it with clang. I guess it doesn't support global register variables which are required to build QEMU with Homebrew. I suppose if you installed the older compiler it might build.

Having some progress by doing this, but it crashes after 3 seconds of loading the ASA.

Install Xcode and Xcode tools then download Qemu1.2.0, http://wiki.qemu.org/Download

Download and extract it.

After that, execute the following commands :

cp /opt/local/include/qemu-1.2.0


Now, configure Qemu with the following options :

sudo ./configure --prefix=/usr/local --disable-sdl --enable-cocoa --disable-docs --target-list="i386-softmmu x86_64-softmmu" \

Compile and Install :

sudo make
sudo make install

Go to /usr/local/bin/ and grab qemu-system-x86_64 and qemu-img
