Hi,

I have 2 switches on my gns3. Using 3640 ios with 16fastethernet module. F0/2 of SW1 is connected to F0/0 of SW2. Both F0/2 and F0/0 are in vlan1 on their respective Switches. F0/0 on SW2 has been made a trunk port. I can see that info with sh int trunk command. Similarly, F0/2 on SW1 is also made a trunk port. But i'm not able to view this info with the sh int trunk command. Why is this so?

R4#sh run int f0/0
Building configuration...

Current configuration : 56 bytes
!
interface FastEthernet0/0
switchport mode trunk
end

R4#sh int trunk

Port Mode Encapsulation Status Native vlan
Fa0/0 on 802.1q trunking 1

Port Vlans allowed on trunk
Fa0/0 1-1005

Port Vlans allowed and active in management domain
Fa0/0 1

Port Vlans in spanning tree forwarding state and not pruned
Fa0/0 1

R1#sh run int f0/2
Building configuration...

Current configuration : 56 bytes
!
interface FastEthernet0/2
switchport mode trunk
end

R1#sh int trunk

R1#
