I see that ubuntu can be installed on a nexus 7 which sounds cool but still a working progress with much bugs but my question is that do you think it wise to put gns3. I think just for experiment should be fun but it would be great in later days to try and stabilise and improve stability for a great portable device so that we do not need to carry laptops around and do tests experiment on tablet devices.

Or do people have GNS on tablets and what is the performance.

Hi,

I think GNS3 could run on a Nexus 7 tablet, especially if there is Ubuntu installed. However, I believe this tablet runs an ARM processor and Dynamips, the IOS emulator won't work on ARM. Anyway imo, even if it could be run, performances would be quite bad. However, GNS3 can be used as a client and all the emulation can be run on a remote server.

Cheers,
