One of the fine improvements somewhere along the way was to remove the confusing option of being able to save a topology file, and the concept of a Project was made the way to go.

However, the tool-tips and status bar messages shown when you hover the mouse over the Save Project tool actually says Save Project or topology file.

In my usual pedantic way, I suggest that this now be changed to simply Save Project

I think I will release a private RC4 only for moderators and beta testers. No many changes/fixes since RC3, the goal is to make sure they are implemented correctly before the final release.

Whilst thinking about RC4 - did you ever sort out topic6396.html? the UDP port incrementing thing where the first hypervisor gets allocated UDP port 10001 as a base port, and the second hypervisor gets allocated 10101 as you would expect with UDP increments of 100.

However, when you start adding links between the devices, as soon as you take a link to a router assigned to the second hypervisor, suddenly UDP port 11101 gets allocated rather than 10101 as you would expect from reading the configuration.

Code:
show run
...
[127.0.0.1:7201]
    workingdir = c:\users\chris\appdata\local\temp\GNS3_2ipdpa\working
    udp = 10101
...
06:00:25: DEBUG (2): Connect link from R2 f1/1 to R3 f1/0
06:00:25: DEBUG (1): new base UDP port for dynamips at 127.0.0.1:7200 is now: 10004
06:00:25: DEBUG (1): new base UDP port for dynamips at 127.0.0.1:7201 is now: 11102   <-----********
06:00:25: DEBUG (1): sending to dynamips at 127.0.0.1:7200 -> nio create_udp nio_udp2 10003 127.0.0.1 11101  <-----********
06:00:25: DEBUG (1): returned -> ["100-NIO 'nio_udp2' created"]

Ok I fixed the problem. It was just some code in Dynagen that was doing a +1000 on an hypervisor base UDP when the difference between 2 hypervisors base UDP was 500 (I know this confusing).
