Hi, Can anyone please tell me how to add 3rd Fasthethernet interface on C3700 router in GNS3. C3700.
3700s have 2 FastEthernet interfaces on the motherboard.
I need another ethernet interface in the router.

  1. Right click on the router and click configure
  2. Select the router from the list
  3. Click on the slots tab
  4. Add an NM-1FE-TX to either Slot 1 or 2

Hope that helps

Dan's explanation is correct. But there is a shortcut too.

Hold down the <Shift> key as you click on the Add-a-link icon - a pop-up will appear. Select FastEthernet as the link type. Now when you click on your 3600, it will automatically add a link to the next available FastEthernet port, but if there are no free port, it will automatically add another FastEthernet module then link to the first port in that module.

I find myself using this all the time since it was introduced in one of the 0.8.4 RCs
