No, we are not allowed to distribute any IOS image. You will have to find one by yourself, this should not be a problem if you are a Cisco customer.

I've not found anything at the moment which will emulate a Catalyst switch.

I believe IOU may allow switches, but I can't verify that as I've never used it. Your other options are to use use Packet Tracer to simulate Cisco switches or buy/borrow some physical hardware to configure
