Hello all!

I'm wondering if the following is possible....

I have GNS3 running on a cloud win2008 server. I know it is possible to connect to the outside world from your GNS topology, and I've done this a few times with loopback adapters. This time, I'm getting a little crazy and am wondering if anyone else has been able to do the opposite... let the outside world initiate the traffic in!

I wish to somehow replace the simulated outside interface of my ASA with my public NIC and IP address. That way I can bypass any middle translations and truly use my simulated ASA as an edge device. This would open up a whole world of cool things that you could do from nodes outside of your private network.

My limitations are that I only have one public IP address (in this particular broadcast domain), and that I do not have physical access to my cloud server (obviously) ...also, I don't think the 'share' tab is available for network adapter properties in Win Server 2008.

Any ideas or thoughts are welcome.

Thanks!
