Data Centre exams are centred around Nexus (NXOS) and UCS.

GNS3 supports IOS routers via dynamips and other routers via Qemu and VirtualBox.

So GNS3 will not directly support the products you need to know about to pass the DC exams.

The Nexus 1000V switch is a Virtual Machine that can be downloaded for free - as far as I know, no one has written an article to show how to join a 1000V to GNS3, but brezular has written about connecting the CSR 1000V to GNS3 (see topic6732.html)

You will also have to be familiar with general Routing and Switching concepts for the DC exams, and of course working with GNS3 will help with these.

Please have a look at the following http://ethernuno.wordpress.com/2014/04/10/integrate-cisco-ucs-pe-in-your-labs-with-vmware-gns3/ on how to integrate the latest Cisco UCSPE on GNS3 for your Data Center studies! I found this today, I'm still in shock and this is out there for years!!!
