Hi devs.

This is not to pressure y'all or demand features, but want to know how soon Qemu and Virtualbox integration will be made available again in the early release. I for one voted VPCS higher up than either the two I mention here, but I'm now starting to miss them terrible now that switching is working so well!

So, I kindly ask, is there a roadmap you are following for each planned alpha phase/milestone that you're willing to share with us? Please, no rush to answer this one unless of course the answer is at your fingertips...

Cheers,
ak.

Hi,

I think you will find this post interesting: post30430.html#p30430

VPCS is well under way but we had to modify it to make it work the way we want in GNS3. We will propose the patch to the VPCS's author.

Cheers,

Thanks Jeremy and apologies for making you cook your veggies twice!

I would ordinarily feel like a dill right about now, but unfortunately, searching for virtualbox or qemu results in this message:
Quote:
The following words in your search query were ignored because they are too common words: virtualbox.
You must specify at least one word to search for. Each word must consist of at least 3 characters and must not contain more than 14 characters excluding wildcards.

However, having now searched for 'integration' it is obvious I'm still a dill as I should have thought of that word - bummer, I just can't win.

Cheers,
ak.

Must be an Australian expression, eh? ;)

Well no blame, the phpBB search function is pretty useless. I just use Google with the following filer site:forum.gns3.net, works much better ;)

Actually, the original phrase comes from the UK where someone responds with "I don't chew my cabbage twice" when asked to repeat something they just said. I've simply toyed with the phrase over the years with the main emphasis being to do something/anything twice. Since Aussies use the word veggies often, I've adapted it my version!
