You need to update your gns3-iouvm... the GUI MUST match the server version

I believe this is the one you need... http://sourceforge.net/projects/gns-3/files/IOU%20VMs/GNS3%20IOU%20VM.ova/download

thank you it worked with me,

I have question please since I am new to IOU,

why it is recommended to use "IOU with GNS3" on linux not windows ?
if I have powerful workstation (with enough memory and cpu cores) and run GNS3 v1 on windows, will I have problems ?

thanks,

The reason is that IOU (IOS on Unix) simply won't run natively on Windows. So for both Windows and MacOS using a Virtual Machine running Linux is required.
