Hello All

I would like to run GNS3 on my windows desktop to connect to dynamips and iou on a debian vmachine (e.g. IOU VM). I am using the iou vm ova image for gns3 er alpha 6 with dynamips (0.2.12) deb binary installed from repo.

However i noticed the current release of GNS3 1 er alpha 6 does not support using external dynamips server. True or False?

When i try to add a router (ios) i get "=> Server error [-3200] : Dynamips executable .." error even for the correct local windows dynamips executable. I however noticed i am able to create a router (e.g. c7200) when i change the path specified for the local dynamips executable to the remote path executable on the server. But I am unable to stop the router when i power it.

Question does the iou vm come with dynamips already installed?

The same issues applies with IOU devices.

NOTICE: Find also attached initscript attached to start dynamips server when vm is powered up.
