no, there is not document because is a strictly closed project not yet released to public.

That said, i've a copy of VIRL (obtained trough my company) and i can tell you that you couldn't be more wrong.

Virl uses a java gui (built on eclipse) for the end user, acting as user front end called VM Maestro.
On the backend instead it uses openstack to manage the topology and the resources allocated. Yes it does use the regular openstack.
Autonetkit instead is used to build the topology basic configuration and handle a web gui visualization (ank server from autonetkit_vis).

The only thing cisco really did here, was to make the two software works together and wrote an autonekit plugin that allow autonekit to parse the generated config as a "cisco ios config" rather than the default "quagga based" config

Automatic topology generator What is one of the component shortage we still
I will provide the AutoNetkit.
Do you would like to explore the possibility to port the AutoNetkit GNS3
I will implement something similar.

1. The, are you maintaining the VisualNetKit and AutoNetkit?
I did not see the update of VisualNetKit 2009 since. (But, I got a AutoNetkit
2011 update)

License What is 2?

3. We Can you help gns3 port?
