Hi all,

I'm testing IPv6 on GNS3. I used the following command (in red) to set the host's IPv6 address. But how can I set its default gateway's IPv6 address? Or is it not needed because the host would use ARP and its "FE80" address to find the default gateway's "FE80" address?

Also, what is Router Link-layer? Which is missing from the following output.

VPCS[1]> ip 2001:db8:1111:1::11/64
PC1 : 2001:db8:1111:1::11/64

VPCS[1]> show ipv6

NAME : VPCS[1]
LINK-LOCAL SCOPE : fe80::250:79ff:fe66:6800/64
GLOBAL SCOPE : 2001:db8:1111:1::11/64
ROUTER LINK-LAYER :
MAC : 00:50:79:66:68:00
LPORT : 20000
RHOST:PORT : 127.0.0.1:30000
MTU: :

VPCS[1]>
