I have just installed GNS3, (0.8.7), on my win 7 machine.
The install seems to have gone well but I can't seem to get the routers to run.
The image I am using is c2600-advipservicesk9-mz.124-25b.image
When I install it via hypervisor and use the "Test" button I get the message
unable to initialize router instance.
When I drag a router, a 2600, onto GNS3 and press run the error I get is
R1:error from server 127.0.0.1:7200: 209-unable to start VM instance 'ghost-
c2600-advipservicesk9-mz.124-25b.image-127.0.0.1.ghost'
I have tried different images and mixed and matched router types but nothing seems to work.

You won't get far unless you cross this bridge.

It could be a corrupt image, or it could be that dynamips hasn't started.

So make sure dynamips is working Edit | Preferences [Dynamips] -> [General] and click the [Test] button. If dynamips doesn't start, check you have the correct path.
