Hi Guys,
I already asked here:
https://learningnetwork.cisco.com/message/397570#397570but let me ask in the gns3 forum again:
I red the FAQ
http://www.gns3.net/early-release-faq/ and this whole thread but I am still not really clear about swithing. The FAQ states:
"The one that are likely not to work are L3 Etherchannel, ISL trunks, DHCP snooping, Private VLAN, SPAN/RSPAN/ERSPAN, Port-security, Voice VLANs, MLS QoS and QinQ."
I just started studying for ccnp switch and some of the topics include:
1. Lab Equipment
2. VLANs (Virtual LANs)
3. Private VLANs
4. STP (Spanning Tree Protocol)
5. Rapid Spanning Tree
6. MST (Multiple Spanning Tree)
7. Spanning Tree Toolkit
8. Etherchannel (Link Aggregation)
9. InterVLAN routing
10. Gateway Redundancy (VRRP, GLBP, HSRP)
11. Switch Security
12. VoIP and Video on a switched network
13. Wireless
If I get the new release will I be able to study or not? I have 3 x 3550 switches at home and I can do labs there but still.. I wouldn't mind to sell them
I am familiar with gns 0.8.5 since it helped me a lot when practicing for my ccna exam and I don't mind to contribute and try 1.0.
Very eager to see your replies!! Thanks a lot!!
Daniel
