Has anyone tried Arista vEOS virtual edition?
Arista switches have a look and feel just like IOS switches.
If Arista virtual switches support all features, it would be nice to be used with GNS3.

Found on net: :(

Until Arista re-licenses the vEOS image, you must be a customer to get a copy.

If it runs in VirtualBox, it runs in GNS3 ;) Now, you need to get your hands on their OS...

Yes I tried it, works fine!

I can only start four vEOS interfaces per switch when using dot1q trunks, make sure to use pcnet3 NICs.
Use GNS3 builtin switch as fan out. See attached picture of lab to show GNS3 multivendor support in action

Arista, Cisco -router, -ASA, and ISE (AAA), Citrix Netscaler and Ubuntu server all running IPv6 and
connected on the Internet.

Regards

@salkindnul - it would be really great if you could write up the whole process - Netscaler, ISE and Arista - even the Ubuntu and put it in the HOW TO section. (howtos-f10.html)

Hi,

It's perhaps a temporary bug but you can download veos with a free account on Arista.
Download link is : https://www.aristanetworks.com/support/download/
