Hi everyone. I'm brand new to these forums. I am trying to connect GNS3 with my Live network via a MS Loopback interface. I actually used this popular tutorial:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JOX6pty ... 9&index=38

I can ping my virtual router on my Windows 7 machine just fine, but cannot ping my PC from within the virtual router. I checked the arp cache and the virtual router and Win7 PC are definitely connected. I'm not sure how to fix this. It must be some kind of firewall issue. Does anyone have any insight? Thanks!

EDIT: Just realized I can ping within the rest of the network and outside of the network, but cannot ping the loopback address. Very strange...
EDIT: Okay, figured it out after all--it was the firewall in Windows! Ha, great first post as I talk to myself. :)
