After installing Beta 4, have two issues:
1. Remote server setting is not saved. Must be re-entered every session
2. After creating and saving a topology in 1.0, when I try to load it in a subsequent session, I get the below error:

GNS3 management console. Running GNS3 Early Release (ER) version 1.0beta4 on win32 (64-bit).

I am running Windows 7 Enterprise 64-bit I get the exact same issue on this as well. I have uninstalled GNS3-ER, deleted my VirtualBox VM, uninstalled VirtualBox, rebooted, reinstalled everything again for Beta 4. The remote server setting has to be added every single time I load GNS3. And when I create a topology and save the project, I cannot reload the project after exiting GNS3 and reloading the application. Console says to report it here:

Another thing I've noticed is the QEMU ASAs are pulling IP address from VBox nat network without having anything attached. For example: Open a blank project, place an ASA on the canvas and set any interface to dhcp. This will result in you getting a 10.0.x.x address. Even though you haven't connected any interfaces.

That's the way VBox works by default. Unless you tell it otherwise, VBox will assign your first adapter to NAT. If you don't want that behaviour, go to the VM's settings | Network settings and make the first adapter a Bridged adapter

Also, topic9650.html is a good read.

It's doing this without any adapters attached. Also, I tried adding my VMware adapter via a GNS3 switch and it still pulled a VBox Nat address.

Yep, unfortunately this is a bug we missed before we release beta4. You will have to either downgrade to beta3 and wait for 1.0 to be released early next week.

Sorry about that.

This has nothing to do with VirtualBox actually, by default any non connected Qemu interface is configured with Qemu user mode networking. So it is normal that you get an IP address if you use DHCP.
