Hello all,

I'm just on the starting process with GNS3 (0.7) and I've got a problem when configuring
a Cisco 3745 i.e. I can't save the running-config so I currently always starting from scratch !

copy run start has no effects
I've also tried the "Startup-config" entry in the the menu but "copy start run " always give
"non-volatile configuration memory invalid or not present..."

Any help would be appreciated.

Try reading The Many Mysterious Methods of Saving a Project in GNS3 post at http://www.gns3.net/phpBB/topic1987.html (which is not perfect - I'll update it one day) but it may help you understand.

Don't try to read it! :) This is because there is bug in dynamips regarding 3745. Try to use 3725 instead.

but it always start from scratch.

I'll try to get a 3725 IOS by now.

Hello,

yes it runs well when using 3725 in place of 3745.
This shouyd be added to the FAQ, I've lost a lot of time with this
issue.

Thanks a lot.
Cheers.
