 Post subject: Issue with configuration on Mac OSx
PostPosted: Wed Sep 30, 2009 2:20 pm
I got everything installed and GNS3 says that it is able to see the dynamips server. When I start up a router I then try to console into it and I get the following:

telnet localhost 2000
Trying ::1...
telnet: connect to address ::1: Connection refused
Trying fe80::1...
telnet: connect to address fe80::1: Connection refused
Trying 127.0.0.1...
Connected to localhost.
Escape character is '^]'.
Connected to Dynamips VM "R0" (ID 0, type c7200) - Console port

It doesn't looke like it is actually starting up the server. My Mac is an imac running snow leopard. Any ideas?

I went through the same exact issue for three days. I have trying to load gatekeeper images for a lab I would like to do. The problem is with your images not GNS3, make sure the image you are loading is supported on the platform you are trying to load it on. Even through an image may be for the 2600 series It might not be compatible with certain models.
Use the Cisco Feature navigator to find out what IOS is compatible with the hardware you are trying to use.

I have Snow Leopard
