Hello everyone,
How to use the function of the GNS3 ASA under the windows7 is quite difficult. But the problem is solved after lots of work being done. I have searched for plentiful information about it and proposed several solutions.
First, the following information should be noticed:
1. The running of ASA is not available under win7.
2. Telnet of GNS3 doesn’t work when using ASA.
3. The interface can't be loaded when ASA initializing.
1. Please install GNS3 version 0.7
2. Select the "Edit"---"Preferences"---"Qemu"---General Settings". Next set the general configuration parameters, the “default qemu.exe” and “qemu-img.exe” works well. Then select the TEST button.
3. Select ASA options. ASA parameters are configured.
NIC: I use the i82559er. If ASA doesn’t work after the completion of configuration, you can try another one of NIC options. Qemu Options: if the default parameters work well, any change is needed.
Initrd path : this method is seldom used. We could execute the following commands to ensure ASA to load the correct interface:
modprobe e1000
ifconfig eth0 up
ifconfig eth1 up
ifconfig eth2 up
ifconfig eth3 up
ifconfig eth3 up
ifconfig eth4 up
ifconfig eth5 up
/asa/bin na_monitor
I have compiled these commands into asa802-ronsun.gz. You can compile them to your own choice.
kernel cmd line :auto console=ttyS0,9600 bigphysarea=16384 ide1=noprobe (default parameters works fine).
Then the RS CCIE is completed. It’s intriguing and I really miss that time! Security CCIE is waiting for me.

"公司规模" how many people working in your company.select one.
"验证码" authcode.you will see them on the right.
OK! if you enter the correct information ,you can click the ”提交“
button. enter your E-mail.click the link to activate.
