GNS3 with PuTTY Connection Manager in Tabbed Mode
1.We need to download PuTTY Connection manager from its website.
2.We need to first map putty.exe by selecting Tools-->Options-->Putty
3.Now,we need to map default session database loaded at startup by selecting Tools-->Options-->Database Attached is the gns3sessions.zip (rename it to gns3sessions.dat)
4.This file will help us to take console of 2 Firewalls and 6 Routers in GNS3.
5.We need to make this file as Default Database file by selecting Database --> Set as Default.
6.Now,close the PuTTy Connection Manager and start GNS3.
7.In GNS3, we need to make below settings:-
General --> Terminal Settings --> preconfigured terminal commands --> telnet(windows) General --> Terminal Settings --> terminal command --> start C:\puttycm.exe Check the tick at launch this command using the default shell.
8.We are now able to access devices in tabbed mode in PuTTY Connection Manager.
