Hi guys, i amhaving some problems to run PIX images with QEMU, each time that i try to add a PIX device and start it I get an 209-Unable to run instance 'XXX' these are the steps that I follow to configure QEMU.

1) Install and patch QEMU following this guide: http://blog.gns3.net/2009/10/olive-juniper/2/

2) All the general configuration of QEMU work, in fact when i press the TEST button everething is OK

3) I add the pix804.bin image on the PIX tab and nothing, I also tried unpacking it and nothing, also tried unpacking the image ASA724-30k8 with the Cisco Image unpacker and nothing I always get the same error.

Configuring the image of ASA802-k8 under the tab ASA, it works.

Anyone has any ideas? Any help would be really appreciated...

Procedure for Compiling Qemu on Linux

I did all the steps while executing make command, Its giving me an error message

ld -Ttext 0 -e _start -s -o multiboot.img multiboot.o
objcopy -O binary -j .text multiboot.img multiboot.raw
/home/kishore/Desktop/qemu-0.11.0/pc-bios/optionrom/signrom.sh multiboot.raw multiboot.bin
rm multiboot.o multiboot.raw multiboot.img

I don’t know what to do please help me

Can you post what is the error message you get when you try to compile your qemu...
