Post subject: Unable to connect 2 NME module
PostPosted: Thu Jul 01, 2010 2:52 am
Hello,
I am trying to connect two NM-16DSW. I do not have any problems connection the NME modules on a window based machine, but on Linux backtrack 4 I am unable to connect the two module.

Are there any known issues or solutions which may help me?

Thank you

Did you used "manual mode" for connecting your routers? Also can you describe the issue a bit more?

Thanks,

Thanks for the reply

I am trying to connect the routers using manual mode. I am unable to connect routers manually with W2T or the 16 port NME. I am able to connect the routers by selecting serial and connecting them; however, I am unable to connect the 16 port NME. When i try to connect the router i select the port and the line disappears and there are no error messages.

I use GNS3 on window so I think I am doing it right.
