 Post subject: cannot ping between microcore and JUNOS

Hi,
I have a direct ethernet connection between a JUNOS router and linux microcore 2.10.img and i cannot ping between the two.
I have attached a screenshot. I am trying to ping between vrfA_PE1 microcore host and JUNOS PE1. On JUNOS this is connected to em3 interface and eth0 on vrfA_PE1 QEMU host.
From JUNOS host i ping 192.168.254.1 i get no response....see screenshot and the same from vrfA_PE1 when i try to ping 192.168.254.2 i get no response.

Anyone come across this issue before.....
Please help....
