 Post subject: Getting GNS3 to work on OS X Snow Leopard
PostPosted: Tue Jul 20, 2010 3:36 pm
I figured out I needed to make dynamips chmod +x, and the same for gemuwrapper after a sudo port install qemu.

I get a filed to start qemuwrapper error when i click test.
I tried it form the command line and get:
commandme : /Applications/GNS3.app/Contents/Resources/qemuwrapper.py
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "/Applications/GNS3.app/Contents/Resources/qemuwrapper.py", line 47, in <module>
import pemubin
ImportError: No module named pemubin

Is their a document to help us get things running and my google-fu is lacking, or if not, can some please assist with the various steps to get GNS3 configured and r5eady for use ?

Thank you,

Hi Jeremy,

I've downloaded the pemubin.py but now I get the following error when starting pemuwrapper.py:

./qemuwrapper.py:943: SyntaxWarning: name 'IP' is assigned to before global declaration
global IP
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "./qemuwrapper.py", line 47, in <module>
import pemubin
File "/Applications/GNS3.app/Contents/Resources/pemubin.py", line 1
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
^
SyntaxError: invalid syntax

How do I resolve this one?

Cheers,

I think this thread documents how to resolve your issue with qemuwrapper, specifically the post by wdennis.
