I was hoping someone could assist - I have followed the directions in the previous threads and done and extensive search - I can get the tap0 interface created and an ip assigned however I cannot get out to my external network. I have assigned IPS to both interfaces on the same subnet ( Tap0 and R1 ) Any help would b greatly appreciated. I followed the steps on the links below as well. Every time I try to bring online my external cloud eth0 I get kicked out of all my devices and I get error you see below - in the example its on one device but when I connect several other routers I get the same result and error.

Please see screen shots for further information. Thanks for your help

Hello

I have the same problem.
I use MAC OS X Mountain Lion 10.8.1 and GNS3 0.8.3.
To connect a Hardware-Router I use the Cloud with en0 and the 3600 Router. The Project can't be start.

See if un-ticking the 'Enable JIT Sharing Support' located under Preferences > Dynamips may fix the problem.

Thanks Khaled, I followed the suggestion but it did not solve the problem.

You copy a log and screen:

Actually, I asked you if you can 'untick' that option instead of leaving it ticked!

Could you also enable the console logs by typing 'debug 3' in the 'Console' window in GNS3 and provide the output when this happens?
