About 5 months ago I could run junos routers from GNS3 using the olive-base.img with no problem. When I tried loading Junos routers today, I do not get the console. Before when I used to start the router, a pop up window (Qemu window) would come showing me the progress in which I could input my commands. What could be the problem??? Is it because I updated Windows 7 to Service pack 1????

I am using GNS3 in Windows 7 which was working before..

Hullo davidodav,

I managed to get it working. I cannot say what I exactly did but eventually it started working after doing a
couple of troubleshooting.

Thanks a lot..

Try to google on how to do a password recovery in Junos... I have done it before and it possible.
I do not remember the exact steps but you can find them if you do a search on the net..

Hi to all. you must run the GNS3 in Windows Vista and Windows 7 as "Run as administrator"; right click to GNS3 icon and click "Run as administrator", then run JUNOS router as usual. this will solve your issue. Cheers
