Post subject: [SOLVED] Serial Interfaces goes down
PostPosted: Mon Oct 20, 2008 4:20 pm
Hi everyone, i've succesfully installed GNS3 under Ubuntu, i could load the IOS images and configure de routers from console without any problems. I've also map some NICs from the PC to fastethernet of the router (Clouds in the image) and everything seems to work fine. This is the topology i'm trying:

ImageImage

Between the two router there are two serial interfaces. When i ping from a PC in c0 to a PC in c1 it works fine, but when i try a to download a file the serial interfaces goes down.
I've tried the same config in real routers and it worked. Any suggestion? Thanks a lot!

Hi,

What are the router models?

The problem can also possibly comes from the IOS image, you should try another one.

Let me know the outcome.

Cheers,

Hi grossmj,
The routers models are 2610, and IOS i'm using is c2600-i-mz-123-25. I'll try another one, and let you know. But these are same specs i`ve used in real routers.

Regards,
