Hi guys,
I run GNS3 in this scenario:
- Windows client (notebook) running GNS3 (GUI only)
- Linux server 64-bit running Dynamips only (external hypervisor) with several Ethernet NICs connected to real devices.
Using this kind of setup I could improve a lot overall system performance and also keep server at one place but move with my notebook (reaching server remotely).
According to GNS3 VBE new feature list
"4. GUI: Disabled Linux features on Windows hosts. (KVM, NIO_VDE, NIO_UNIX and NIO Linux Ethernet)"
I could not manage real devices attached to my Linux server. With past releases of GNS3 that was possible because I used Linux Ethernet NIOs (on server) in cloud configuration instead of Windows ones (on client).
Could you please suggest me a workaround or insert a checkbox inside GNS3 configuration options in order to allow cross-platform scenarios like mine?

Thanks, Guidinaz
