Hi All GNS Experts,

The goal I am trying to achieve is to have internet on the VBox. Please view the attached image.

As per the blog [http://commonerrors.blogspot.com/2011/05/connect-gns3-router-to-internet.html] Internet pings and DNS lookup is fine on the R1, no issues there. I can ping the VBox from the R1. The VBox can reach [Fa0/0: 192.168.1.100] but not the cloud [192.168.1.254]. I dont know whether I am right or wrong but my assumption is, if somehow the VBox is able to reach [192.168.1.254] it will get internet.

IP Settings:
R1: Fa0/0: 192.168.1.100
R1#: Ip Route: 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 192.168.1.254 [This is the Ip address of my real router Thompson]
R1:Fa0/1: 192.168.2.100
VBox: 192.168.2.101
VBox Default Gateway: 192.168.2.100


I apologize as I am not very smart, this might be simple but I cannot figure it out or may be there is an alternative way and for the long text. I would really appreciate your help.

This is solved my GNS3 friends. I will try to write on this but I have to come up with a very easy format so that no one else goes through the pain I have gone through.

Bro, Now that you have commented I feel like an idiot :) . I am sorry bro, got a little frustrated on this one. Bro I am not smart like you, you wont believe but I have literally spent almost 3 weeks on this scenario. In the end I found out that I only have to enable NAT and it works fine the VBox has internet connection and browsing.
