Hi,

I've not found any answer to this here. I'm trying to configure RIP using these simple commands :

router rip
version 2
redistribute connected

The commands exist in my 7200 IOS (fully featured) but they never appear in the running-config.

If I load them in the startup-config, they appear in the show start but not in the show run.

I can run OSPF and BGP with no problem.

Do you have an idea what could be the reason for this?

Alex

Hi,

I found that if I add a network command such as network 0.0.0.0, all the config then appears in the running config. If I then remove this it, the remaining config stays there and it works...
