Hello. Could someone, please, advise equipment type purchase from Ebay for CCNP Switch studying. Is the 2 x 3550s are best price/quality solution nowadays? 2 are enough? Which version should be buyed SMI or EMI? Thank you.

Get 3560s if you can. 3550s do not support EVERY aspect of the CCNP Switch exam. But they do most of it. Now that the 3560s are EOL they have become cheaper on Ebay as well. Then again, the 3550s are around $50-100 US... But with a 3560 you save on crossover cables since they support auto-MDIX

3750 is cheaper than 3560.

I was able to build my whole CCIE lab with under 1500E, including 5 x 3750, console cables, usb to com adaptors, network card to support vlan tagging, 35 patches, power bar.

Really happy with the setup.

Me too ;)

The only downside to the 3750 is that the interface numbering is different, so you have to get used to that. And the QOS is a little different too.
