Hello dear Developers. Is there any ways to decrease CPU load while using ASA Images? My Laptop i5 CPU heat up above 60 degrees and FAN become crazy and producing noise like General Electric turbofan on Boeing 747. Is that normal behavior?

Hi,

Is your CPU load at 100% for Qemu?

There is a way to limit CPU usage, please read the last part of this documentation -> http://www.gns3.net/gns3-pix-firewall-emulation/

Regards,

Hi,

I see total CPU usage is 34%. 33% occupied by Qemu, so yes probably 100% for one core, right?

I can only recommend you to read http://www.gns3.net/gns3-pix-firewall-emulation/

Maybe someone can share his experience?

Yes, i think it is single core load, because I have i5 with 2 cores and 2 virtual by HT. Notice that load is high without any network activity in GNS3, even connections. If it is expected behavior, I'll limit CPU usage with with BES. Thank you!
