Hello guys, is there any way how to teach Cisco courses (CCNA,CCNP etc.) legally?
As we're planning to include cisco courses in our virtual learning enviroment and we don't
have much real HW so I am not sure if we can for example :
1) Buy one original cisco HW, extract IOS and install it on devices in GN3
2) Buy only cisco IOS (one or more) and use it on GN3 emulated devices
If there is an official way how to accomplish this task? I would be very thankful for any advice.

The only way to teach these courses legally is to become a Cisco Learning Partner

However, that doesn't mean that you can't create supplementary exercises (like Rene's GNS3Vault) or write books about CCNP etc that aim to help students obtain their certifications.

As for the legality of using IOS with GNS3 - well, that's a long and old argument that can be best summarized as follows:

  • You cannot use IOS on anything but a "central processing unit owned or leased by Customer or otherwise embedded in equipment provided by Cisco" see http://www.cisco.com/public/sw-license-agreement.html
  • Millions of users all over the world, including some big-name Cisco Learning Partners have flaunted this part of the agreement to use IOS in GNS3. To date, Cisco had not unleashed the legal dogs on anyone
