Cannot get DHCP to work over VLANs when using the default GNS3 etherswitch. Can get working on directly connected interface minus vlans.
Cannot get working with DHCP server located on switch or separate router.

I'll list my steps when setting on the switch (suing individual VLAN as example):

Setup VLAN 2 on switch, give IP address 192.168.1.254
'switchport access vlan 2' and no shut on interface connected to DHCP client

exclude vlan2 interface IP from dhcp range
setup dhcp pool (default-router 192.168.1.254, dns 8.8.8.8, network 192.168.1.0)

What am I missing out?

Steve
