Hello. Why all FastEtherne ports always up/up "FastEthernet0/0 is up, line protocol is up" . Serial interfaces work correctly. If I delete link between routers or router switch line protocol is up. How to fix it? Сomplete reinstallation did not help.

I'm not guru here (neither dynamips nor gns3), but I have some ideas regarding that.

The problem is dynamips doesn't emulate the physical layer of the router, there is has no way of working out whether the cable is plugged in or not... So the line protocol will always be up.

This only applies to ethernet connections, not serial.
