Hi,

this sounds like that your tftp is misconfigured (permissions, tftp folder) or the file asdm-649-103 simply doesn't exist.

Hello Shinu,

I assume there are no !!! on the console, right?

Do you have already any ACLs applied?
Could please post the output from "show access-list" (after the copy command) and your config?

Regards,
Thomas

Hello Shinu,

you could try:

tftp-server inside 192.168.1.2 asdm-649-103.bin
copy tftp: flash

Or replace inside with outside, depends on your config.
When the transfer still fail, please post your config.

Regards,
Thomas

Dear Thomas,

As you suggested ,i have tried both configuration (Inside and outside).but still i am getting in the error

Accessing tftp://192.168.1.10/asdm-649-103.bin;int=outside...
WARNING: TFTP download incomplete!

%Error reading tftp://192.168.1.10/asdm-649-103.bin;int=outside (Unspecified Error)

I have not configure any thing more .Still find the attached file for your reference and help me to sort out this problem.

Thanks & Regards

Hello Shinu,

I thinks it's a problem with your tftp server. Can you copy your running-config to the tftpd and back?

Code:
ciscoasa# copy running-config tftp
Source filename [running-config]?
Address or name of remote host []? 192.168.1.10
Destination filename [running-config]? run1

and

Code:
ciscoasa# copy tftp: flash:
Address or name of remote host []? 192.168.1.10
Source filename []? run1
Destination filename []? run1

Please remove the tftp-server outside 192.168.1.10 asdm-649-103.bin statement, it's not necessary in your case.
What software do you use as tftp server? What's your complete topology?
Can you ping your tftp host?

Regards,
Thomas

Hello Thomas,
While copying running-config to tftp server ,getting below mentioned error.

ciscoasa# copy startup-config tftp:

%% Non-volatile configuration memory invalid or not present

Yes,tftp server is reachable from Firewall.
ciscoasa# ping 192.168.1.10
Type escape sequence to abort.
Sending 5, 100-byte ICMP Echos to 192.168.1.10, timeout is 2 seconds:
!!!!!
Success rate is 100 percent (5/5), round-trip min/avg/max = 1/1/1 ms

Please find the topology diagram.

Thanks & Regards
Shinu Mathew

Hello Shinu,

you should try copy running-config tftp instead of startup-config.

Please try another tftp software on your host, some tftpd handles large files not correctly.
Is assume there isn't a special configuration on the switch?

Regards,
Thomas
