Hello,

i was wondering if there is any chance to obtain iouyap source code. Why is not public yet ?

If we want linux distros to provide a working version of the new gns3, i'd say that having iouyap source code to compile and package would be definitely a plus.

Jeremy has mentioned that sources will be appearing on GitHub at some point, as like you say for distribution it will be required.

Here it is, I've put the code on GitHub. https://github.com/GNS3/iouyap

However, the original author will probably fork this and work from his own repo. I'll let you know.

Sorry, not many instructions ;) There is one dependency: it needs iniparser from http://ndevilla.free.fr/iniparser/

ok, so i figured out how it works..

Required for compiling: gcc, flex, bison, libiniparser-devel, glibc-devel
Required for runtime : libiniparser (iniparser) libpthread (glibc)

Compile it manually:

bison --yacc -dv netmap_parse.y
flex netmap_scan.l
gcc -Wall -g *.c -o iouyap -liniparser -lpthread

:)

Looks like you miss iniparser devel file.... Not sure about the name on debian.. Could be libiniparser-devel or iniparser-devel or something similar to it

so, i checked ... looks like debian does NOT provide the package for libiniparser . what that mean is that you need to go here, http://ndevilla.free.fr/iniparser/ download the latest tarball and compile it manually .. and of course install it .. once done, you'll be able to compile also iouyap
