Not quite sure what yo mean. Are you running GNS3 on OS X and trying to connect multiple VMs via GNS3, or run GNS3 in a VM and then connect to the outside world? I run Linux, WIndows and Mountain Lion VMs quite happily under fusion, and run GNS3 in each of those environments (this is how I do most of my testing really). If I want a router running in one VM to talk to a router in another VM, I set up a UDP tunnel between them using the Cloud device. |

What im doing is OSX is the base host system, I have GNS3 running in that, then trying to connect VMware fusion guests to GSN 3. I have seen an issue with bridging vmnet's causing kernel panics however. When I select vmnetx (being any number between 1-10), I get the 206 error, as shown on page two. The reason I want to use vmware over virtuial box, is I can have an unlimited number of nics (well in effect), in VMware. And at the moment, I only have access to my Macbook pro :( |

I think you'll have to create TUN/TAP interfaces and bridge them. Or go back to Snow Leopard (why DO Apple like to screw with things that WORK?) topic1950.html may help |

Woot I did it! With VMware fusion 6 pro, its now easily possible to connect, even better it could be possible (havent tried it), to run multiple tap interfaces off the same cloud connection each bridged to individual vmnets. A big thank you goes to http://binarynature.blogspot.ca/2013/09/integrate-vmware-fusion-with-gns3-on-your-mac.html, and I have combined a bit of everything on my blog here: http://bloodiedstone.blogspot.com.au/2013/11/juniper-via-vmware-fusion-6-console-for.html |
