Post subject: how to config putty with different settings?
PostPosted: Wed Mar 31, 2010 12:44 am
Hello everyone!

I was wondering how i can change and saved putty settings (example: bigger font and different background, etc.) and reuse these settings and all of my gns3 labs.
I dont want to be changing settings every time i launch a new session of putty.exe.

thanks.

go to edit > preferences > general > terminal settings.

when using putty, in terminal command:, it will be written as "putty.exe -telnet %h %p -wt "%d" -gns3 5 -skin 4" . Remove "Skin 4 from it" i.e. edit it as "putty.exe -telnet %h %p -wt "%d" -gns3 5" and apply. After it, whenever you will open console, putty will take your default settings. set its default settings as you require.
