First steps on GNS3 might be hard for new users. I had many problems to be successfull too, but with patience...
YES WE CAN!!!

I give a nice LAB for hot standby router protocol to see how to do.

have a lot of fun.

For Cisco pros: In case of mistakes, don't hesitate and tell me about. Corrections are wellcome! Thanks.

Hello,
I am getting started GNS3. I downloaded your HSRP lab. I saw (Flash0, Flash1, Nvram)files. Normally I used .bin file for IOS.
Can you please let me know how to use these Falsh0 Flash1 Nvram files in GNS3?

thank you so much,
abbyy

Hello abbyy
Files named Flash0, Flash1, NVRAM are files in a subdirectory, called HSRP-Lab_working. They where made by GNS3 while saving the lab. Don't touch these files, only use it.

Hello Utobler,

Message noted with thanks. Now what I did with HSRP lab files:

1. I extracted to one folder
2. Then I add 3600 and 2600 image to the GNS3.
3 Then I tried to open the HSRP.net file

Then I got the error message "209-unable to start VM instance 'ghost-2600_PC_flash0_127.0.0.1.ghost""
I use Windows 7, 64 bit edition with Latest GNS3.

Can you guide me how to try next?
I am till trying to integrate Securecrt with GNS3. Till now no success (I have tried alot ways I found on the net). But it is ok for me, currently I can use Putty (Built in with gns3 installer).

thaks,
abbyy

thanks,

Well done!
It's most the best choice to check IOS-version in .net-file
Hope your lab is well running now.
