Post subject:  new gns3 beta superputty and ethernet interfaces

Hi
I found these 2 features not present in the new gns3 beta.
1)I dont understand why the IOU devices only have ethernet and serial interfaces(by default it shows 2 eth and 2 serial adapters) but no fastethernet interfaces? how can i use fasteth in iou devices?

2)Also ,the console windows are opening in different superputty windows rather than in the same window. Strangely, when i first installed and ran gns3 beta, all the console /CLl windows were opening in the same superputty window.
Further the commands textbox seems to be missing in new superputy

What is the solution?
Thanks in advance
With Regards

IOU doesn't have FastEthernet interfaces... for the purpose of GNS3 it is completely irrelevant to us whether they are Ethernet or FastEthernet

Hi claydon_dan,
When I open the consoles of different devices -routers ,pcs, switches in superputty ,they are all opening in different windows unlike in the older version.
Also ,there is no commands textbox from where I can give the same command to all the nodes in my topology which was there in earlier gns3 0.8.6 version.
Hope I am clear to you.
Is there any configurations inside the gns3 to make these work?
Plz guide me.
Regards

Unfortunately I'm not familiar with SuperPutty myself, as I primarily run GNS3 on Linux... Hopefully someone with more SuperPutty experience will be able to help further
