Is it possible to extend GNS3 to run another routing software? Say if you have a portable routing stack that can run on x86 hardware and some flavor of linux - can you somehow load that image into GNS3? If not, can GNS3 be modified to make it so?

Thanks in advance for any insights.

Hello,

I am working on a completely new version of GNS3 to support more emulator/systems (IOU, Huawei, Juniper etc.) and interested in your thoughts. Please could you give me more details and if possible examples/links so I can fully understand what you would like to see.

Thanks,

Hello Jeremy,

Is it possible to extend GNS3 to run or emulate netfpga? Could be really interesting.

Best regards,

Antonio.

Hi,

One of the goal for the new GNS3 is to be extensible. I don't really know netfpga, what do you have in mind?
