No idea why Chrome would consider it "malicious" :(

@grossmj

Something I just noticed... When you go to File -> Open Project the dialog box that is displayed then had the title "Open a file". Should this perhaps reflect the file menu option and say "Open a project" or "Open project".

Have done some testing of GNS3 0.8.5DEV, Dynamips 0.2.10-Dev and even VPCS 0.5a1 on OS-X and Linux - Haven't had a chance to test Windows yet - perhaps someone else may like to run though my test plan (attached)

Environment:
GNS3 0.8.5 DEV
Dynamips 0.2.10-dev
VPCS 0.5a1
IOS Used c3725-adventerprisek9-mz.124-15.T10.image
ASA asa842-k8.bin
JunOS jinstall-9.6R1.13-domestic-signed.tgz

Preparation
Remove existing gns3.ini if it exists
Remove Project directory if it exists
Have IOS available in Images directory
Have ASA image ready in Images/ASA directory
Have JunOS olive image ready in Images/Junos direcory

Test Plan
(See attached spreadsheet)

Results Summary
In OSX, the default dyanamips was 0.8.2RC3 - had to change it to 0.8.10-Dev

When adding a JunOS image for the first time, error messages appeared in the GNS3 console. Quitting GNS3 and trying again fixed the problem - same result for both OS X and Linux

Messages in Console were:
GNS3 management console. Running GNS3 version 0.8.4.

@rednectar

I think I fixed the problem but please check to be sure.

http://code.gns3.net/gns3-devel/archive ... 8f0fa9.zip

Also, I added Instructions to the Help menu but let the conditional entry in the Tools menu. The instructions entry in the Help menu is always displayed but will show an error if clicked and there is no instructions file.

@Jeremy - haven't had a chance to look at the JunOS image thing yet, but re the Instructions:

Having the instructions in two places is a bit confusing. The fact that it only appeared on the Tools menu when there was something to show is a nice touch, but it also means that if you didn't know about it, you'd never learn about it.

I think having the option on the Help menu, even when it is unavailable is OK - but perhaps the error message could have a link to a tutorial - I'll write one for the purpose.

Something like "No Instructions found. Click here to to see how to add Instructions to your project" - "here" could either link to a gns3.net link, or a local file that would be placed somewhere on the user's system during install.

I'll remove the entry in Tools menu and add a link to your tutorial on gns3.net or forum.gns3.net

Thanks for your help!

Hi, i've found a couple of bugs.
When you set up with spanish language, some functions don't work properly, like removing devices

@Jeremy In post 1669 you mentioned you had something extra in mind for the next version.

By any chance are you going to offer HyperThread support? I intend to get a new machine next year that will have HyperThreading. This would make it easier to develop larger topologies.

Mike
