I've just started going through some eigrp tutorials and have setup this one:
http://commonerrors.blogspot.com/2011/0 ... le-as.html
My setup is similar although all links are serial (and not gig as per R6)
Everything is working fine but now I want to try and set a preferred route. From a Cisco article
http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/do ... tloadshare
It says you can use the delay metric to setup the primary and backup link. I have set the delay to 500 000 on R6 int s1/0 but this has not changed the path the traffic flows through.
When I trace from R1 to 18.104.22.168 it goes via R4. I would assume increasing the delay would force the traffic via R5.
Is there something I am missing?
