Post subject:  no more than 7 routers on an external hypervisor

Hi,
I have configured gns3 on ubuntu and i use an external hypervisor on a pc with windows xp.
When i launch up to seven router on the external hypervisor all runs fine, but if i drag the 8th router gns3 crash.

On the gns3 where i have the topology appears this message :

"Connection lost
Error : could not communicate with dynamips server 192.168.1.46
it may have crashed. check the dynamips server output"

On windows pc where the external hypervisor runs appears this message :

C2691 instance 'R41' (id 38):
VM Status : 0
RAM size : 128 Mb
NVRAM size : 128 Kb
IOS image : C:\ios\c2691.bin

31507 [unknown (0x160C)] dynamips-wxp 4604 _cygtls::handle_exceptions: Exception: STATUS_ACCESS_VIOLATION
33470 [unknown (0x160C)] dynamips-wxp 4604 _cygtls::handle_exceptions: Error while dumping state (probably corrupted stack)

I have this error with different images (2691, 2610XM, 3743....)

Can you help me solve the problem?

Another question :

How many routers can run on an external hypervisor?

Thanks to all

fabio

This problem comes from Dynamips. Use more than 1 external hypervisor (can be on the same host).

Cheers,
