Hi,
could someone explain how to keep configuration of routers after restarting a LiveCD?

I know that configuration is saved to NVRAM (/root/TS1/nvram_001xx or /root/TS2/nvram_002xx) but it seems to me that Linux Live CD cleans every new file and even a change in an existing file.

Is there any magic command which keeps NVRAM files?

Thank you in advance.

I hate to say this, but I have to... (Please forgive me and delete the message if you think that is abuse)

In this cruel world ;), with a BIG hungry for money (greedy end never satisfied), people often call Microsoft as "Micro$oft", but lets don't forget that Cisco is more likely "Ci$$co".
They had tear down "asaproject.gromnet.net" and "flyxj.cn" and probably more, because people can learn to use their Cisco network stuff for FREE, and that is not good for the company policy.
Anyway, they don't think that those people will pay in a near future things like certifications and real gear for their company's.

PS: RIP for asaproject, flyxj and dynamips!
