Hi there... Hi Jeremy, packet capture between 2 IOU devices still not working, as you said the workaround is to put generic switch between the IOU devices, it worked but in big topology adding Generic Ethernet switch between every IOU devices will mess the topology, will there any plan to rectify this problem Please help us…

Does it work with generic switch on Windows ? with generic switch I get: Error: SW1: could not start the packet capture reader: [WinError 2] Regards Robert |

for me it does not work I tried with live capture and traditional capture Wireshark's mode, version Version 1.12.1. An error: Error: SW1: could not start the packet capture reader: [WinError 2] The system cannot find the file specified" Windows 8.1 Ent 64 Regards Rpbert |

Hi .. It is working fine to me, i am also using same system config like u windows 8.1 but wire-shark 1.10.x, i don't know what went wrong in your pc here i am attaching my capture snapshot and topology snapshot R1 and R2 are IOU images, just look at this, are doing this way are some other way..

Hi, Make sure "C:\Program Files\Wireshark\wireshark.exe" exists. If not adjust the path in GNS3 preferences. |
